Declaration For The Unseen Voice

Before starting this article,i will like to quickly offer a quick disclaimer about the title/heading,it is a deliberate play on words and not as a result of english comprehension challenges, please do take it in similar spirit as intended.

We all woke up happy and in high spirits, thinking happy thoughts in the serene knowledge that we are witnessing another birthday of our lord jesus christ, preparing for the christmas festivities all round the world on the 25th of december.Suddenly we were all jolted out of our collective reveries by the breaking news beaming across the regional ,national and international print and electronic media.

There has been bombings at the  Saint Theresa Catholic Church in Madalla Niger state.

While there has been an outpouring of emotions from Nigerians both home and abroad including virtually all the countries in the whole developed world. There seems to be a sort of collective cluelessness about how best to tackle this phenomenon, especially due to its kaleidoscopic nature which has not left much time for the relevant authorities to adapt, keep up with or come up with a workable solution.

These fundamentalist ideals spread incidiously under the guise of religion, with the active connivance of  unscrupulous and self centred politicians which has now spread like wild fire bringing in its wake destruction, shedding of blood, sorrow and grief.A general view which is a collective agreement amongst the length and breath of Nigeria and amongst Nigerians is the intransigent nature of the Boko Haram sect which has further emboldened them with the apparent helplessness of the security agencies and their new found notoriety and infamy.

Religious leaders, politicians and social commentators have come up with various and diverse ways on tackling or at the very least controlling the emerging terrorist attacks, but from all i have read it seems most people have firm views but few facts to back up their assertions. Some are calling for the outright resignation of the President and Commander- in- Chief of  the armed forces while others are calling for a complete overhaul of the security apparatus amongst other diverse views, in a corner are those who derive some sort of morbid fascination  for reasons i cannot fathom at the moment!
i have read a number of tweets(yea I'm on twitter bite me!lol)  which have echoed  diverse views  and i have disagreed with a number of them including several articles on blogs which have served to inspire and embolden my erstwhile dormant literary interest ,in addition to internet sites including those mentioned above which has prompted this  piece.

Having mulled over this issue for days now,and  by virtue of my  research on the subject of islamic terrorism i have come to a number of realisations which will in turn lead to a number of recommendations and my take on the best way to tackle the spate of bombings and terrorist acts generally in nigeria.
pls do note that i am not being arrogantly conceited or being superior about my views, this is just my own personal view on what i feel is the right solution.

I  will split this article into different parts not unlike our Nollywood Movies. I am mindful of the fact that it can be overwhelming and mentally tiring to read a very lengthy article especially of this nature, besides i would like to give each of my recommendations the chance to breath in a manner of saying, for want of a better word and also a chance for it to be adequately read and assimilated.

Ps; these are my personal views but i appreciate any dissenting opinions thanks
